Cashflows, the platform that makes it easy for businesses to accept payments, today announces its new offering of SUNMI in-person payment terminals.
The Android devices will be available to Cashflows partners and customers from today, enhancing the already robust in person payment offering.
Alongside Kinetic Smart Solutions, Cashflows has made the switch to offer SUNMI machines, which offer simple integration options via a RESTful API or direct Android broadcasts. For businesses requiring multiple payment terminals, the initial integration and all future updates will seamlessly carry over to any other Cashflows SUNMI terminals used. The new offering is a fully certified and scheme accredited solution, with PCI Compliance being maintained on an ongoing basis.
The range of in-person payment solutions will be rolled out on a rental model, suitable for the varied needs of different sectors. Whether a pub needs a portable device to switch from Wi-Fi to 4G to take payments in the garden, or a gas engineer requires SmartPOS technology for a transaction during a home visit, Cashflows’ personal approach to payments ensures every situation is accommodated.
Paul Clarke, Chief Growth Officer, Cashflows, comments: “With 86% of all card transactions in the UK taking place in person, providing an in-person payment solution that is fast, seamless and suitable for the needs of all our customers and partners is a priority for Cashflows. We’re thrilled to be working with SUNMI and Kinetic Smart Solutions to offer the latest card terminal technology with a range of features that will significantly enhance the in-person payment experience.”
Cashflows’ partner terminal rental model allows ISVs to generate additional revenue streams with minimal administrative lift, as ISVs can offer high-performance SUNMI devices to their customers while Cashflows manages all hardware maintenance and compliance.
The SUNMI devices will also allow ISVs whose customers have more complex payment needs to develop their own Android apps on top of the existing solution. This flexibility enables Cashflows partners to customise the offering to best suit their customer’s payment needs - such as dental practices linking payment to an appointment scheduling app, hospitality businesses adding the option to order ahead via QR code, or retailers offering Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL).
Alex Green, Head of Sales UK, Ireland and Nordics, SUNMI, says: “We are proud to produce in-person payment devices that require just a single payment application across multiple terminals. With SUNMI’s easy to manage Android hardware, there’s no need to worry about the hardware - instead, focus can be placed on the continuous improvement to the payment application layer and providing the seamless consumer journey that Cashflows and Kinetic does so well.”
This update follows the launch of Cashflows cloud-based in-person payments (Point of Sale) solution last year. Cashflows plans on continuing the enhancement of its in-person payment offering, with plans to launch a proof of concept (POC) with card schemes for Tap on Phone functionality later this year.
Craig Doyle, CEO, Kinetic Smart Solutions, adds: “We pride ourselves on working with the best in the business. Making the switch with Cashflows to offer SUNMI in-person devices to their customers and partners demonstrates our dedication to delivering seamless payment experiences.”
