Based in West Palm Beach, Fla., with nearly $260 million in assets and 22,000 members, the credit union went through an extensive evaluation process to replace its legacy provider, and ultimately selected Tyfone’s platform based on its ease of use, intuitive design and ability to provide members a more engaging, personalized experience. The modern digital banking platform will be instrumental in helping the credit union attract the next generation of members.

Gold Coast Federal Credit Union President Steve Bush said, “Our credit union is currently undergoing a complete digital transformation, and we are examining every technology component to ensure we are providing our members with the best solutions. To compete in our market, it is essential that we provide a digital banking experience that is frictionless and enables our members to manage all aspects of their finances. After evaluating the major digital banking platforms, Tyfone was the only provider that met all our needs and felt like they were invested in our success. We truly view them as an extension of our team.”

Tyfone’s open, API-driven platform offers a frictionless member experience and enables the credit union to plug-and-play its desired third-party providers, providing its members with additional financial literacy capabilities including credit score monitoring. Through deep member analytics based on spending habits and credit scores, Gold Coast Federal Credit Union can deliver more targeted marketing campaigns and more effectively engage its current membership with tailored services and offerings depending on each member’s unique needs. By cross-selling personalized financial products to its members, the credit union empowers members to take control of their financial lives.

“Tyfone’s platform will significantly accelerate our transformation efforts,” Bush said. “In our market, we are competing with not only other credit unions, but also megabanks and fintechs. Partnering with Tyfone gives us a competitive edge and gives us the digital tools needed to reach a younger demographic. Additionally, this platform provides the ability to more easily and quickly detect and prevent fraudulent activity. With Tyfone we can provide our members with the best possible digital banking solution and user experience, while continuing to mitigate risk and fraud.”

Additionally, the credit union was impressed by Tyfone’s commitment to giving back to the community, both by improving financial health through its financial wellness capabilities and its Java4Kids initiative. Co-branded with CU4Kids, Tyfone donates all proceeds from Java4Kids coffee to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, solidifying the company’s commitment to community and giving back.

“Tyfone is committed to providing a best-of-breed digital banking experience for credit unions that not only deepen and expand member relationships but also provide a secure platform that members can trust,” said Siva Narendra, CEO of Tyfone. “We are proud to partner with Gold Coast Federal Credit Union to take their banking platform to the next level. We look forward to building a solution that will empower their members to improve their financial lives and are excited to collaborate with the team.”
