Sustainable investing specialist Impact Cubed (soon to be iCubed) has strengthened its leadership and quantitative capabilities by appointing Antonia Lim as Chief Investment Officer.
Lim joins from Schroders, where she served as Head of Quantamental Investments.
At Schroders, Lim was instrumental in establishing their bespoke solution capabilities, reinforcing her industry reputation for innovation and client outcomes. She also led a 100-person initiative focused on improving sustainability measurement, integrating material factors throughout the firm’s investment processes. Prior to Schroders, Lim served as Barclays’ Global Head of Quantitative Research, solidifying her 24-year track record in cutting edge insight and customised investment.
Larry Abele, CEO and founder of Impact Cubed (iCubed), commented:
“As investors become more aware of the limitations of standard ESG ratings, they’re seeking tailored, efficient, sustainable strategies. With Antonia on board, we can enhance our 3D approach, which integrates risk and return with our clients’ values. Her experience will help us continue delivering inventive solutions that enable clients to achieve sustainable outcomes.”
Originally established as a specialist data provider, Impact Cubed quickly evolved to offer advanced investment solutions, advice and analytics, including custom benchmarks for some of the world’s largest pension funds. Its success in this field led to the firm joining the Euroclear group in 2022.
Antonia Lim said:
“For successful long-term investment, it is key to articulate objectives clearly and stay well informed. All investors can gain value from having sustainability data, analysis and solutions available at their fingertips and Impact Cubed is well established at the forefront of this area. I am excited to be joining to further the firm’s vision, grow the team, and maintain its leading position.”
Before her roles at Barclays and Schroders, Lim held senior positions at Kleinwort Benson and Dresdner Bank (now Commerzbank). She holds a master’s degree from Oxford University, is a CFA charterholder, and serves on the CFA Research and Policy Centre’s Technical Committee.
