Both companies are pursuing the shared vision of making high-quality private market investments more widely accessible.

The cooperation enables retail investors to invest directly in Moonfare's private equity ELTIF exclusively via the NAO app, starting from EUR 1,000.

The private equity ELTIF Access Private Market Opportunities ELTIF SICAV Moonfare Private Markets Portfolio I (ISIN: LU2913953332) is set up as an umbrella fund structure in order to invest in the best private equity managers worldwide. The fund structure makes it possible to offer a diversified portfolio across various managers, suitable for private investors with generally smaller investment amounts. The strategy combines investments in buyout funds of renowned private equity managers and direct co-investments in companies. The ELTIF will be highly diversified across sectors, regions and managers, with investments expected in around 50 portfolio companies.

“NAO and Moonfare share the vision of breaking down the barriers for private and alternative investments. Private investors should have the same opportunities as institutional investors,” explains Robin Binder, CEO and founder of NAO. “The addition of the Moonfare ELTIF perfectly complements our curated product portfolio. With our growing offering, we enable NAO users to build sustainable wealth through high-yielding, diversified investments.”

“Our goal is to expand access to private equity so that more investors can benefit from the advantages of the private markets. To this end, our investment team is developing new products, such as our ELTIF. It brings together all the private equity experience of our 15-person team in one product,” adds Dr. Lorenz Jüngling, Co-CEO & Managing Director of Moonfare. “By partnering with NAO, we can reach even more people with our ELTIF and tap into a new target group to help them build long-term wealth.”

ELTIFs (European Long-Term Investment Funds) are regulated investment products Products in private markets private asset classes such as private equity, infrastructure and private debt. This gives private investors access to investments that were previously mainly available to institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals (HNWI). In practice, however, there are still hurdles for consumers in terms of accessibility and choice. This is where the Moonfare and NAO partnership comes in.
