With a distinguished career spanning over 20 years, having held senior business development and partnership roles at Mastercard, Visa, and American Express, Edoardo brings exceptional expertise and strategic vision to Curve’s ambitious growth plans.

As an already established leader in digital payments, Curve is constantly working to develop its diversity of financial solutions. Following the European Commission’s investigation into Apple’s unfair restriction of competition, the market has since opened up to alternative providers and Curve is the first to jump at an opportunity to offer consumers a more flexible and enhanced mobile wallet solution. Curve Pay will deliver unparalleled choice for consumers positioned to compete directly with Apple Pay. Edoardo’s unique experience with developing multinational partnerships in the payments’ space will be invaluable in delivering Curve’s breakthrough digital payment solution in Europe and guiding the company into a successful period of growth.

“I am excited to be joining Curve at this vital juncture of its business journey and welcome the challenge to ensure Curve Pay is implemented smoothly,” said Edoardo Volta. “Curve’s highly anticipated Curve Pay solution is set to shake up an industry desperate for a different digital wallet experience. Curve’s wallet will bring huge value to consumers while saving banks millions annually in transaction fees typically paid to Apple. I look forward to taking what Curve has built and sharing it with millions of consumers - they deserve a better, broader and simpler choice when it comes to spending, saving and managing finances, and we at Curve are intent on providing it,” added Edoardo

“We are thrilled to welcome Edoardo to our senior team,” said Shachar Bialick, CEO & Founder of Curve. “Edoardo brings that ideal combination of industry credibility alongside a deep understanding of what it takes to cultivate global partnerships. With his extensive experience with card and payments processing refined at household names such as Visa and Mastercard, Edoardo is equipped with the skills, the networks and the gravitas to make Curve Pay a success. We are looking forward to working together and refining the execution strategy for our pioneering Curve Pay product.”

Edoardo has held several senior positions at Visa, where he led the European Digital Partnership team, and Mastercard where, among other roles, he was the Head of Fintechs for Europe. In this role he worked with all non-traditional card issuers, including all European Digital Banks to enable development of innovative payment solutions. Before joining Mastercard, Edoardo worked for American Express, where he held a variety of positions over an 11 year period within their Corporate Payment Services and Network divisions, which involved account management, business development and product management.

Curve’s mission is to empower customers to achieve ultimate financial freedom, through pricing, selection and convenience. Curve’s focus has been and will continue to be, launching world-class products and driving long-term growth, and Curve Pay is a natural consequence of this approach. Edoardo’s proven track record in building relationships across the payments’ stakeholder spectrum, will be hugely beneficial to ensure Curve Pay realises its full potential.
