Online Payment Platform awarded UK EMI licence

Online Payment Platform Ltd (OPP), a specialised payment service provider for platforms and marketplaces is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) as an Electronic Money Institution (EMI).

Under the EMI license, OPP is expanding its capabilities to facilitate C2C, B2C and B2B payments for platforms and marketplaces in the UK. To add to its already impressive offering including multi-split payments, escrow solution, a seamless onboarding experience, dispute handling and automated mediation, the EMI license now allows OPP to offer a wallet solution giving users an even more seamless payment experience.

OPP plays a pivotal role in enabling UK platforms to expand their operations into Europe, while also supporting European platforms in entering the UK market. By leveraging these connections, OPP provides businesses with genuine cross-border capabilities, allowing them to seamlessly navigate the complexities of international expansion.
