Clients of Hazeltree's zConnect platform will benefit from Necto's multi-bank API aggregation, which provides a single endpoint for real-time bank connectivity, bank account balances, and intraday payments—streamlining integration processes across jurisdictions. This integration offers crucial support for hedge funds, private equity firms, and fund administrators by delivering real-time visibility into liquidity, enhancing operational efficiency, and reducing the risk of manual errors.

With a rich history of supporting large and complex hedge funds, Hazeltree's zConnect platform initially focused on connecting counterparties such as prime brokers, custodians, and ISDA counterparties for collateral management. Hazeltree zConnect has now expanded to support fund administrators and larger private equity firms with their global banking needs, enhancing its capabilities to manage complex entity structures and investment strategies. By leveraging both bank APIs and P2P (point-to-point) connections, Hazeltree provides the flexibility and scalability required to meet the diverse needs of its clients.

"At Hazeltree, we are committed to empowering hedge funds and private equity firms with the tools they need to manage liquidity and collateral across a global banking network. Necto's API aggregation aligns perfectly with our vision of a seamless, integrated platform that automates banking connectivity, improves decision-making, and strengthens financial control," said Paul Gallant, Hazeltree Chief Product Officer. "This partnership enables us to extend our bank connectivity offerings and enhance the overall value we provide to our clients."

Bank connectivity is a core component of Hazeltree's treasury management and liquidity platform, enabling automation of financial data flows and reducing operational complexity. With Hazeltree's zConnect platform, hedge funds benefit from liquidity management, securities financing, and streamlined interactions with prime brokers. Similarly, private equity clients gain access to global banks, manage subscription lines and credit more effectively, and maintain cash liquidity for GP/LP structures.

Necto's extensive network of banking APIs complements Hazeltree's existing connectivity, expanding access to thousands of global banks. This enhanced connectivity supports faster reconciliation, real-time data visibility, and improved security through standardized protocols, allowing clients to respond swiftly to market conditions and make better-informed decisions.

"We are excited to partner with Hazeltree, a recognized leader in treasury and liquidity management for investment management firms," said Toby Michelmore, Head of Sales at Necto. “Our collaboration strengthens the financial ecosystem for hedge funds and private equity firms by offering a unified platform for global banking data aggregation. Together, we will help our clients optimize their financial operations and achieve operational efficiency.”
