Moonfare already offers individual investors a curated set of institutional-grade investment opportunities. Now, eligible investors will also be able to invest directly in select companies alongside leading GPs.

Founder and co-CEO Steffen Pauls explained, “Many of our sophisticated investors have signalled an appetite to invest in direct deals, and we can meet that demand thanks to our deep, decades-old relationships with our fund partners and the industry at large. These precious relationships, along with our growing scale, ensure we can access a constant deal flow of top-tier opportunities.”

Moonfare’s investment team leverages the firm’s extensive global deal sourcing network and relationships with over 250 top-tier private equity and venture capital firms to source exceptional direct deals.

It has already closed investments in Anthropic, a global leader in generative AI widely regarded as the primary competitor to OpenAI/ChatGPT, and NVIDIA-backed Sakana AI, which has achieved a $1.5bn valuation in just over twelve months of existence. (See Notes for editors below.)

All direct deals go through a thorough due diligence and selection process and are approved by Moonfare’s Investment Committee, which comprises independent members and senior Moonfare executives.

Moonfare will reveal further exclusive deals in due course.
