ABN AMRO Investment Solutions (AAIS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Laurianne Melec as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

She will be a member of the Executive Committee and will focus on upholding operational continuity, driving further innovation, and ensuring that ABN AMRO Investment Solutions keeps delivering high-quality service to its stakeholders.

Laurianne Melec has over a decade of experience within ABN AMRO Investment Solutions and has built a solid track record of operational excellence and leadership across a range of functions directly related to the COO role. She has held several key positions since she joined AAIS in 2013, and was appointed Head of Organization and Innovation in September 2023. In this role, she ws instrumental in automating processes, supporting the company's growth, and driving innovation management.

Her extensive experience also includes stints as Head of Operating Model Transformation from 2020 to 2023, where she delivered the new portfolio management system and managed the program team. From 2016 to 2020, she was Head of Middle Office Operational Control and simultaneously Head of Data Management from 2018 to 2020, where she led sizeable teams. She previously worked as Head of Operational Control from 2013 to 2015. In each of these positions, she worked under the direct supervision of the COO. Prior to that, she held similar positions at HSBC Global Asset Management and Louvre Gestion.

Laurianne holds a Master's degree in Finance and International Trade and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management from the University of Bordeaux IV.
