Guy Houghton joins as Tribe’s Chief Revenue Officer, bringing over 30 years of commercial leadership experience in global technology companies serving the payments, banking, and fintech markets. Guy will work closely with Tribe’s Managing Director, Alex Reddish, to drive the company’s expansion and revenue strategies.

Having started his own payments, banking and fintech consultancy practice in 2022, Guy has an impressive track record in the industry. He most recently provided commercial leadership to Thredd (formerly Global Processing Services) and supported the business during a major transformation phase, following investment from private equity firms Advent, MissionOG, Viking, and Temasek.

Guy’s extensive experience includes 15 years at First Data (now part of Fiserv), where he led business and market expansion for their issuer processing business across the EMEA region. He also held executive responsibility for relationships with several large global financial institutions headquartered in the region.

Guy’s expertise spans business strategy, market entry and expansion, strategic sales at C-suite level, building and leading sales and customer success teams, business transformation, M&A, partnerships, and product and value proposition development.

In addition to Guy’s appointment, Tribe is excited to welcome Dusty Miller as Head of European Sales, further strengthening the company’s sales capabilities in the region. Dusty brings a wealth of experience as a highly accomplished sales leader in the payments industry, with a proven track record in winning major accounts and leading high-performing sales teams.

Known for his dynamic approach and excellent communication skills, Dusty excels in strategic negotiation, business planning, and portfolio management.

The company is also proud to highlight Jo Lawrence, who joined Tribe as Head of Customer Success in April. Jo is a life-long payments expert, with over 20 years of experience managing relationships across various payments, risk, and fraud prevention roles. Her background includes over a decade at Mastercard, where she most recently served as Global VP of Field Data Services, and 13 years at Barclaycard Merchant Services.

Commenting on his appointment, Guy Houghton, Chief Revenue Officer at Tribe Payments, said: “I’m thrilled to join Tribe at this exciting time in the company’s growth journey. The payments industry is undergoing rapid transformation, and Tribe is well-positioned to lead the way with its innovative technology and customer-centric approach. I look forward to leveraging my experience to drive Tribe’s expansion. Together with the talented team at Tribe, I’m confident we can achieve significant growth and make a lasting impact in the industry.”

Alex Reddish, Managing Director at Tribe Payments, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Guy, Dusty, and Jo to the Tribe team. These strategic appointments represent a significant milestone in our growth journey and highlight our commitment to assembling a world-class team that drives innovation and growth in the rapidly evolving payments landscape.

Andrew Hocking, CEO of Tribe Payments, commented: “Guy’s extensive experience in commercial leadership and his deep understanding of global payments will be invaluable as we expand our market presence. Together with Dusty’s expertise in European sales and Jo’s proven track record in customer success, we are strengthening our ability to meet the evolving needs of our clients and partners. This expansion of our leadership team positions Tribe to accelerate our growth, drive innovation, and reinforce our status as a leading force in payments technology.”
