Komercni Banka, a merchant banking subsidiary of Societe Generale based in the Czech Republic, is using Welcome Real Time's XLS technology to add loyalty applications to its EMV smart cards.
The bank has already begun converting credit and debit cards to the EMV standard and will use Welcome Real Time's XLS platform to add new applications such as loyalty points and coupons.
