Barclays Capital, the investment banking arm of the UK's Barclays Bank, has appointed Dominic Thwaites as director and head of credit trading IT.
In his new role Thwaites will be responsible for leading the development of Barclays Capital's credit trading technology. Based in London, he will report to Simon Tasker, managing director for front office technology.
Thwaites was previously at Lehman Brothers where he was a director of IT, responsible for delivering solutions for structured credit trading, futures execution, firm financing and repo trading.
