Multex.com and Paris-based Ubiqus are teaming up to offer fund managers video coverage of analyst meetings for French, Belgian and Dutch companies.
The footage will be complemented by transcripts of the meetings, PowerPoint presentations, company announcements and annual reports, in both the local language and English, say the two companies. The service is to be launched in January 2001.
Brooks Gibbins, managing director, Multex.com Europe states: "The financial world is becoming smaller. This service saves investors and analysts time, by delivering key company information by video, via the Internet, to your desk top, wherever you are."
As part of the agreement, Ubiqus will provide its real-time financial newswire PRLine to Multex subscribers, delivering access to announcements from French, Belgian, Dutch, Spanish and Italian quoted companies.
