Corillian debuts in Europe with Greek bank win

EFG Eurobank Ergasias (Eurobank), the second largest private-sector bank in Greece, has licensed Corillian's Voyager platform to provide a new framework for Internet banking and brokerage services. The deal is an important win for Corillian which recently opened an international office in the UK.

In addition to supplying its flagship Voyager package, Corillian has also been commissioned to implement an improved settlement platform for online brokerage in conjunction with local partner InTarget.

Eurobank currently offers banking and brokerage services via the Internet, mobile devices and interactive television. The new infrastructure platform will enable Eurobank to expand its Internet banking offering - providing new products and services to a wider range of customers, says Dimitris Mavroyiannis, manager e-banking at Eurobank.

Corillian, Microsoft and InTarget will carry out the integration jointly. The deal is important for Corillian, as it demonstrates that solutions developed for the US market can be adapted for the European market.

"This is a major development for Corillian International and the development of our European business," says Martin Davis, managing director, Corillian International.
