JPMorgan Chase has started outsourcing jobs traditionally done by junior analysts to India, according to a report by the Financial Times.

According to the report, many US investment banks are not replacing exisiting jobs but are moving tasks normally done by junior analysts, such as financial modelling, overseas.

The FT says staff with MBAs can be hired in India for $25,000 compared to salaries of $100,000-$145,000 on Wall Street.
