Chicago-based futures commission merchant Advantage Futures has gone live with SunGard Futures Systems' GMI software to manage back office processing and accounting of exchange-traded derivatives and futures.
SunGard says Advantage Futures processed approximately 10 million contracts using GMI in the first month of operation, without requiring any infrastructure changes or additional costs.
The firm is anticipating even higher processing volumes as its seeks to diversify its client base to include both retail individual and institutional trading customers.
