Eontec says it has already begun planning the rollout of its products on the BEA WebLogic platform 8.1, which aims to reduce integration complexity for banks running applications across multiple channels. The vendor's customer banking suite includes applications for branch and e-banking, call centre, multi-channel lending and corporate payments.

Scott Edgington, vice president and general manager, global software partners, BEA Systems, says the combination of Eontec's banking services with the WebLogic Platform can minimise costs, implementation times and business risks by streamlining the design and integration of customer-facing processes.
