Turkish bank Garanti Bankasi has signed a contract with Bull Smart Cards and Terminals for the delivery of one million debit/credit chip cards.
Garanti Bankasi says the migration to chip reflects a deliberate effort to cut down on card fraud rates and introduce secure Web-based banking services. The new Bull cards are compatible with the international EMV standards defined by Europay, MasterCard and Visa.
