California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPers), the largest pension fund in the US, is implementing middleware technology from SeeBeyond to provide application integration, business-to-business connectivity and business process management.
The software will be used initially in the replacement of CalPers existing EDI payments software and will enable the firm to connect with existing partners while providing the flexibility to add more partners.
Jack Corrie, chief of CalPers' information technology services division, says: "SeeBeyond will help us streamline our technology infrastructure to better meet our customers' needs."
