SmartStream Technologies has recruited Mercator's Tim Collins and Steve Lewis from Capco, as it looks to build on its recent acquisition of financial messaging and business processes management firm Connextive.
Collins will head SmartStream's professional services division for the newly acquired products. He was previously principal of the professional services division at Mercator, where he was responsible for sales and delivery.
Lewis has been appointed to the position of sales for SmartStream's new BPM and financial messaging product. At Capco, Lewis was responsible for STP and consulting with client banks.
Prior to this he was a custodian banker and has held senior responsibility for STP at ABN Amro, Bank of New York and Deutsche Bank. He has also worked at Wang as a software programmer.
Both Collins and Lewis will focus on the Northern Europe region and report to Mark Cappell, regional director, Northern Europe.
