HSBC Bank has signed a new three-year outsourcing contract with Bottomline Technologies for the supply of cheque and financial documents issuing and processing services for its corporate clients in the UK.
The new deal is an extension of an existing five-year contract for the production, distribution and reconciliation of cheques and other documents, such as invoices and remittance advices.
Under the revised contract, Bottomline will also provide the bank with new electronic distribution methods and the opportunity for further scope of payments including multi-currency cheques and drafts and e-payments.
