Frankfurt-based dealing room sales and marketing firm IBX is to promote and distribute ePulse's SentinelPlus market data monitoring tool and instant messaging software to financial services firms in Germany, The Netherlands and Austria.
SentinelPlus was developed as a monitoring and management solution for market data distribution systems such as MTRS and Triarch. The product is extensible to other applications in th front, middle and back office and can manage Unix, NT or VMS based applications.
IBX currently distrbutes and supports Netherlands-based Screen Consultants' Infomatch software and the Dart data monitoring suite from UK developer Harco. Albert Vliegen, founder and chief executive of IBX, says SentinelPlus is complementary to the firm's existing product offerings for market data management and usage tracking.
"SentinelPlus provides us with a monitoring tool for the dealing room that is essential in a market where clients are keen to cut costs," he says.
London-based ePulse says it will be announcing similar partnerships in other regions as part of its international expansion. The vendor recently reported a distribution deal with Moneyline Telerate.
