New York-based Axioma has released a new version of its portfolio optimisation software for investment managers, PortfolioPrecision, which includes a new user interface and improved workflow capabilities.
With the revised interface, PortfolioPrecision 2.0 allows investment managers to create and store logical groupings of investment goals and business rules using desktop folders.
Sebastián Ceria, president and CEO, Axioma, says: "We sat down with investment managers, watched the way they worked, solicited their input and suggestions, then developed a completely new interface to ease the entire rebalancing process."
Enhanced workflow also makes portfolio construction and rebalancing processes more efficient, says Ceria, as users can move between multiple strategy, portfolio, and analysis screens, reducing the time required to rebalance accounts.
In addition, users can save investment strategies so they can be applied at a later date or across multiple accounts. The platform also includes improved data management and new analysis and reporting functions.
