Tony Kirby, the former head of straight-through processing at Reuters, has resurfaced at Deutsche Börse where he has been put in charge of the Exchange's STP effort.
Kirby was made redundant during the the massive job-cutting programme outlined by Reuters in February.
At Deutsche Börse, he will have input into the Exchange's reference data and clearing and settlement business via Clearstream. He reports directly to Martin Reck who oversees group functionality.
Kirby joins the Exchange after a well-travelled career in the financial markets, including stints at Instinet, Swift, Bolero, GSTPA, and Reuters.
