US online lending company E-Loan has appointed Etienne Handman, former vice president of technology at Oberthur Card Systems, as chief technology officer of E-Loan.
Handman will be responsible for all aspects of E-Loan's technology development, heading up the company's drive to improve back-end efficiencies and systems integration to convert site visitors into E-Loan borrowers, says the company.
Handman brings with him nearly two decades of experience in e-commerce, information technology management, process improvement, marketing and operations, state the company. While at Oberthur he managed the development, testing, implementation and launch of smart card fulfillment systems, including American Express' Blue card.
