Hong-Kong-based PacificNet.com has entered into a strategic alliance with CyberCash Asia Pacific to provide its clients with improved online payment solutions.
Under the agreement, PacificNet will implement the payment company's eCashRegister solution through its own proprietary software, eMerchant2000, enabling Internet shoppers, merchants and banks to process real-time credit card transactions over the Internet.
CyberCash will also provide an Internet fraud detection service which the company says helps online merchants identify and minimise fraudulent transactions without jeopardising legitimate sales.
