Raiffeisen Bank-Romania has signed a new three year, multi-million pound contract with Fiserv for the upgrade and maintainence of its core banking system.

Under the deal, the bank's existing implementation of Fiserv's International Comprehensive Banking System (ICBS) will be upgraded in order to improve reliability, customer support and system maintainence.

Steven van Groningen, president and CEO, Raiffeisen Bank, says: "We decided to upgrade our systems to improve cross-selling and time-to-market procedures."

Raiffeisen Bank-Romania has been using Fiserv's services and solutions since 1994.
