As a part of its ongoing restructuring, Swedish transaction technology firm OM has re-organised its central business support operations into finance, marketing and communications and staff functions divisions.

The vendor has hired Bo Svefors to head up the new marketing and communications unit, which will be responsible for marketing, information and investor relations. Svefors was most recently an independent consultant and a member of the board of directors of Orc Software.

OM's head of human resources, Pernilla Gladh has been appointed to head the staff functions division, which covers human resources, legal, premises and group security. CFO Per Nordberg will continue to be responsible for the finance department, including treasury, accounting, business control, internal audit and risk.

Stockholmsbörsen operator OM recently announced plans to merge with neighbouring Finnish exchange HEX, prompting the departure of long-standing chief executive Per Larsson.
