UK STP software vendor SolutionForge is launching FIX.NET Trader, an order management system (OMS) targeted at small to medium-sized sell-side firms.
SolutionForge says FIX.NET addresses a gap in the OMS market for a system that meets the particular business and budget requirements of smaller sell-side firms.
FIX.NET Trader supports the full electronic trading cycle, enabling users to manage incoming order flow and communicate execution and order status information to trading counterparties using FIX messages and control the lifecycle of Indications of Interest (IOIs).
FIX.NET Trader has been built entirely in C# using the .NET framework, utilising Microsoft's BizTalk Server to provide integration with back office systems.
The vendor will formally launch the package at the SIA Technology Management conference and exhibition in New York on 17-19th June 2003.
