Telekurs-iD combines a Windows interface with low-maintenance environment of a Web browser and provides access to the vendor's entire range of data, encompassing real time quotes, corporate actions and news.

This first version is a replacement for the vendor's hosting system Finbase and browser-based solution FinXS. A further release planned for early 2004 will replace Windows application Finvest.

The platform also includes a search and link product for back-office requirements and a streaming application that updates prices automatically on the screen. Additional packages with functions for other bank departments are planned.

Fritz Hediger, head of marketing and sales, Telekurs Financial, says the product was developed in 15 months and customers supplied feedback at each project phase: "We were able to identify a trend and adapt the product to our customers' needs."
