Misys Asset Management Systems has launched Fiscal Open Access, a new component of its integrated settlement system for UK stockbroking.
Fiscal Open Access provides direct access to the Fiscal database and its real-time functional processing via an object interface. Based on an IBM multi-relational database, the system also provides access to the latest in IBM database tools and enables firms to build customised applications.
In addition, a browser-based graphical user interface (GUI) is designed to work in both intranet and Internet environments.
Kirit Teli, Fiscal product manager, Misys Asset Management Systems, says: "By presenting Fiscal Open Access as a collection of multi-tasking objects, a workflow approach can be adopted."
Teli adds that clients will be able to integrate the new component with their Fiscal implementation.
Current Fiscal clients include Morgan Stanley Quilter and Brewin Dolphin Securities.
