Abbey National has licensed Raft International's component-based operational risk management application, raft radar, to manage exposures across the enterprise.
Abbey National will initally deploy three modules from the Internet enabled package - Incident Capture, Key Management Indicators and Processes, Risks and Controls.
Gerry Wilkinson, radar product manager, Raft International, says: "This is a significant opportunity for us as it opens up a brand new segment of the market – retail banking."
Shares in Raft rose 71% to 6.62p on the news.
