RBC uses Anvil's front-office software, Arts, at its repo desks in Toronto, New York, London and Sydney and went live with the new module in March.

Anvil says the central clearing margin management module provides RBC with real-time reconciliation between its traded portfolio and those used by LCH to generate margins.

The application takes automated data feeds of all required risk parameters and market data from LCH and provides RBC with real-time reconciliation of its margins.

The vendor also developed a margin management system for the Sydney Futures Exchange and Clearing House's (SFEC) Bond and Repo Clear (BRC) project in 2000.
