Schroders has deployed Eagle Investment Systems' security reference data management package across its businesses in London, New York and Tokyo.
The UK asset manager is using the Eagle Reference Manager package to centralise all security reference data in one location and establish a consistent data model across its global offices.
Marc Nield, executive director, institutional IT, Schroders, says: "We needed a solution that would help with the management and distribution of consistent security reference data throughout our organisation, help to reduce discrepancies and validate the accuracy of large volumes of data.
"We are already realising significant benefits in our market data management processes," he adds.
Eagle says the software can help organisations consolidate, translate, validate and disseminate clean and accurate security reference data throughout the enterprise.
The deployment is part of a larger implementation at Schroders. The firm has also licensed Eagle's Pace, Portal and Performance products.
