Under the agreement Peresys will integrate Cameron Systems' flagship FIXEngine into its existing trading and messaging software to provide FIX connectivity to its buy and sell side customers in South Africa.

Ashley Mendelowitz, managing director, Peresys, says: " The adoption of a global messaging standard like FIX can materially increase the order flow of our clients with offshore counterparties".

Separately, Peresys has also formed a strategic partnership with Australian investment software vendor Garradin.

Initially, Garradin will use Peresys' integration system Connex to add electronic trade confirmation and settlement to its investment management and trust system, Garradin Portfolio. Connex will also be used to automate processes such as cash and scrip reconciliation, corporate actions and client instructions.

Richard Bell, head of sales and account management, Peresys, comments: "Garradin are an ideal partner to enhance our introduction to the Australian market, just as we are in a great position to assist them into the South African market."
