Fixed income network TradeWeb has appointed Kevin Swann to the newly-created position of head of market data, Europe.
Swann joins TradeWeb from Bloomberg where he held a number of roles during his 11 year tenure including applications specialist. He also spent a number of years sourcing third-party data. Most recently he was responsible for Bloomberg's specialist sales team for Europe and South America.
In his new role Swann will spearhead the creation of a series of market data products in Europe.
Last week, TradeWeb announced that its daily trading volume had surpassed the $100 billion mark for the first time.
