US market data technology vendor HyperFeed is to embed technology from Tibco Software into its Managed Exchange Platform.
The platform, which is located at each client site, provides direct access to all North American exchanges and includes data cleansing and management tools.
Hyperfeed says it will use the Tibco libraries to ensure the speedy arrival and distribution of market data and give customers more choices for connectivity.
Paul Pluschkell, HyperFeed's president and COO, adds: "It eliminates the time required and costs associated with development of APIs and middleware."
The system also incorporates Tibco's SmartSockets package and under the agreement, HyperFeed will be able to to re-sell SmartSockets to its customers.
Tibco says the new package will solve the problems associated with incomplete data sets, latency and bandwidth.
