The bank has integrated the exception processing module with its existing CityNet Cash Reconciliation (Cars) application. The combined system is being used to investigate treasury back-office exceptions by three teams at the bank's head office - nostro, nostro reconciliation at investigations and cheques.

Bank BPH PBK says it expects a significant reduction in paper usage as a result of automating investigations processes. Users will also have easy access to the history of exceptions and a detailed audit of activities for each case, which will avoid double investigations.

City Networks says it has seen substantial growth in the Central and Eastern European markets and will continue to invest strongly in the region.
