UK-based STP software vendor Netik has teamed with CGI Group to bring to market MView, a browser-based data hub and reporting system engineered for wealth mangement firms in Canada.
The package is based on CGI's portfolio management and accounting system MPower and Netik's Web-based investment data hub InterView. The system provides online access to reporting, inquiry and analysis of investment information.
CGI says MView was developed to provide a consolidated information hub to support browser-based reporting and ad hoc queries for its MPower ASP users.
Gary Teluckingh, vice president, banking and investments, CGI, says: "The MPower user group asked for online reporting and analysis to help them cut costs and mitigate risk, and we recognised that this solution was critical to increasing our service levels."
The product will deliver pre-defined reports and queries and facilities for user-configured reports, ad-hoc queries and analysis. Users can download and save data in Microsoft Excel and generate structured reports in PDF format.
MView is engineered specifically for the Canadian wealth management market and is targeted at the mutual fund, managed account, WRAP and institutional investment sectors.
