I-flex Dutch CEO released on bail

I-flex Solutions Netherlands CEO Senthil Kumar, detained in the UK at the request of Dutch authorities investigating alleged visa violations by the Indian software firm, has been released from gaol on £20,000 bail following a hearing at Bow Street Magistrates Court in London.

Kumar - arrested seven days ago following an investigation into visa irregularities that saw 12 programmers from the company's Dutch office shipped back to India - was forced to hand over his passport as part of his bail conditions.

The Dutch allege that Kumar was "complicit in the drawing up and submission of false references to enable persons to obtain visas to enter the Netherlands from India".

It is understood that the programmers ordered out of Holland were visiting the country on valid Schengen short-stay visas, but did not possess the required work permits.
