The Buttonwood Tree Group, a technology consultancy for financial services firms, has appointed Ian Cohen as group director, operational services and business risk control solutions.
Cohen joins Buttonwood Tree from Barclays Capital where he was chief operating officer. Prior to this, he was chief executive officer of Jiway Broker Services.
He has also held senior positions at Morgan Stanley and Clearstream (formerly Cedel) and has worked as an independent consultant.
