UK electronic trading software vendor patsystems has appointed Andy Edwards as director of customer operations.
Edwards joins Patsystems from Xchanging Ins-sure Services, a service provider for electronic insurance trades, where he was head of infrastructure services.
Prior to that Edwards was business development director at Wise, an e-business service provider for global insurance firms, and has also held senior positions with Deloitte and Touche and Chase Manhattan Bank. He was also a founding member and director of online trading portal Bolero Services.
The new appointment is part of the management restructuring initiated by patsystems new chief executive Kevin Ashby, who joined the company from Wise in September last year.
