Texas-based investment firm Barbnet has installed SolutionForge's Microsoft-based securities transaction messaging system, FIX.Net Server 2002, to connect to counterparties using the front office FIX messaging protocol.
Berbnet will initially be utilising version 4.0 of the FIX protocol to transmit trade instructions, in line with the current standard at its North American counterparties.
Clive Bode, vice president, Barbnet, says: "We found SolutionForge's FIX.NET Server 2002 FIX engine very easy to integrate with our proprietary system and its flexible architecture allowed the project to be completed swiftly."
