Business intelligence vendor SAS is to open a new risk management practice in the UK, to be headed up by Peyman Mestchian.

SAS hires Peyman Mestchian to head new UK risk practice

Mestchian was previously director of the business risk consulting practice at Ernst & Young.

SAS says the new practice will deliver software that addresses the critical risk needs of organisations in the financial and energy sectors, including market, credit and operational risk systems that provide solutions for data collection and aggregation, risk analysis and reporting.
