The National Bank Of Greece has selected local e-payments vendor Printec to supply the country's first EMV smart cards.
Printec says it will supply the bank with smart cards from Luxembourg-based GemPlus.
The first Greek EMV card will be a co-branded product by retail chain NBG and Parousiasi and will feature a loyalty scheme.
