South Africa's Swaziland Royal Insurance Corporation is to outsource its back office operations to Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC).
Under the contract, worth 30 million South African rand, CSC will provide the insurance firm with managed back office processing using its Insure/90 short-term insurance industry platform, from its data centre in Johannesburg.
The vendor says implementation is under way and processing should be operational by April 2003.
Malo Mthande, assistant general manager, Swaziland Royal, says: "We can focus on running our insurance business confident that the back-office operation is being optimally managed by specialised CSC staff."
