SmartStream Technologies has appointed Richard Cummings to its UK sales team based in London.
He will report to Mark Cappell, SmartStream's regional director for Northern Europe.
Cummings joined from AFA Systems where he was global sales manager. Before that he worked for Reuters Risk Management as UK & Ireland director and previously as sales director. He previously held roles with SunGard and Reuters in Australia.
SmartStream have also hired Mathias Haque from RTS Realtime Systems. Haque joins as account manager based in Frankfurt, reporting to Rolf Eichenberger, country manager Germany & Switzerland.
Both placings were made by financial recruitment outfit Jonathan Wren.
