Maple Leaf Capital will use the combined system, which interfaces Sophis' fund and risk management software Value with TradingScreen's platforms, to manage its volatility arbitrage activity.

Sophis says the combined package will also enable Maple Leaf to manage multi-asset portfolios, monitor risk and manage the order process from inception through execution and allocation.

Michael Wexler, portfolio manager and CEO, Maple Leaf Capital, says the solution encompassed the entire range of functionality the firm required across risk and order management.

"Ease of integration allows us to execute and process seamlessly," he adds.
