The service will include tools and trading alerts and a graphical user interface optimised for quick data retrieval and management.

FinancialContent says businesses will also be able to consolidate their existing content subscriptions into the StreetIQ platform and will have administrative control of the content that is made available to users.

Wing Yu, CEO, FinancialContent, says: "Our goal is to launch the service as soon as we secure commitments for the first 1000 seats."

The vendor has also announced that StreetIQ will partner with a software development firm to develop a proprietary instant messaging system for use by trading professionals. Content from the StreetIQ Website will be integrated with the messaging application.
