Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi to offer account aggregation

Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi is deploying Teknowledge Corporation's TekPortal system to provide its Internet banking customers with online account aggregation services.

The Kanji-based service is hosted by Teknowledge partner AccountOne and will enable Internet banking customers to access acount information from Japanese banking, broking and credit card sites.

Teknowledge says its TekPortal product is gaining momentum and is already used as the online account aggregation infrastructure at Wells Fargo and NetBank, among others.

Neil Jacobstein, president and CEO, Teknowledge, says: "The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi's offering to one million plus Kanji-based online banking customers demonstrates TekPortal's ability to operate effectively in the world's largest banks."
